Why do people think Xbox's turnaround is hinged on one game? There is no magic bullet for Xbox. The reason PS and Nintendo was beating Xbox is because they are consistently releasing really good games generation after generation. Xbox is built on hype for the next big thing and the results speak for themselves.

Surely, Phil or someone high up had to green light Redfall to launch and not be delayed. Arkane must have come to MS and told them that the game wasn't ready to launch. Phil is trying to play the good guy and act like he's just as shocked at everyone else about how unfinished the game is. Spencer is either the head of Xbox and signed off on it's release or he's just a clueless multi-million dollar Hype-man...or both

Its laughable that a company that can't make any good original IPs is telling another company that creating a new IP, to compete with biggest franchise in gaming history, is easy. MS is literally buying publishing companies because they suck at making games and can't compete with Sony.

Interesting story. Played the game around the time it came out and I was terrible with the bow. When I got my PS5, I started playing it again and this time... I still sucked at shoot. Not as interesting a story as I thought.

I think Mighty Keefe said it best. People are boycotting this game because of JK Rowlings will make money off of the sales, but they're still using Twitter which is owned by Elon Musk who has had numerous tweets against transgender as well.
Well at least Sony didn't swoop in and buy Avalanche to keep Hogwarts Legacy off of the Xbox.
If Hogwarts wasn't just around the corner, I would have bought this. Seeing the media pile on, the price will probably drop very quickly.
